Biography
“Magical landscape painting”
My artistic work actually began when I could just hold a colored pencil in my hands. Even in kindergarten, I was always the one who was busy painting most of the day. At that time, for some inexplicable reason, I was impressed by the "town musicians from Bremen" written by the Brothers Grimm ( German fairy tail about animals ), whom I practiced to draw even more perfectly. Maybe that's why I have so many pets today, who knows. Unfortunately, I'm still missing the donkey.
Throughout my entire school years up to the Abitur at the Bodensee-Gymnasium Lindau, I had always achieved top grades due to my constantly growing passion for painting in art lessons and, as a crowning achievement, I was able to take the advanced course in art in the college level. Our very multi-talented group spent many hours together in great friendship, even outside of school, doing artistic work together and strengthening each other's creativity. Even a small final exhibition took place in this circle in our well-known high school with great success.
Obviously, I soon studied art history as a major and Italian-Roman philology and economics as minor subjects at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. In addition, I was required to have Spanish and a Latinum. My insight into the diverse and exciting world of art was deepened considerably through this incredibly interesting course of study, my eye trained and expanded many times over beyond my personal limits. After extensive practical experience, my studies gave me a very theoretical and all-encompassing view of art in the areas of painting and sculpture to architecture through all epochs.
After various internships, I was then very lucky to be able to work in a small auction house in Lower Bavaria, which in turn gave me a completely different perspective on everyday art and junk. Precisely because of this, a completely new perspective on art in general emerged, with all its meanings for the common people. At that time, I had a lot to do with furniture (mainly farm furniture, depending on the region), jewelry, porcelain, coins or even collector's items such as plush toys or tapestries. Carpets as well as silver up to household resolutions, with all their hidden treasures, fell into my area. The recognition, value and appreciation of all these different art objects not only promoted the creative area of our small auction house team, but also the economic aspect of the auctions, as a new point of reference to art.
Unfortunately, however, the structural-related end of the small business was soon in sight and due to the lack of career opportunities in this area, in my then very valued Lower Bavaria, I had to take other professional paths, which unfortunately should keep me away from art for a few years. Only my gardening skills remained with me as a passionate hobby gardener. Because at that time I was already living in the tranquil Lower Bavaria with plenty of nature around me, in the old house of my great-grandparents, where the fox and the rabbit say good night to each other today. In the years that followed, I also dealt with all kinds of renovation work as well as the garden design of my little kingdom and changed my career from office work in the heating sector to the construction industry to the fashion industry and finally to the international trade of a biochemical company in my region. To my deep regret, there was initially no time to live out my artistic vocation in this world. Basically, I have hardly ever actively painted myself since my high school days. The first inspiration for this actually came from my little white German shepherd puppy, Wolf, during one of my Christmas holidays in my home town of Lindau on Lake Constance with my family. At that time, the very restless and slightly behaviorally disturbed young dog could just be calmed down with my classical guitar playing and then always lay down very peacefully and snuggled close to me. This behavior then gave me the idea to take up the brush again and so after all the long years of artistic creative break my first acrylic painting of a Tuscan hilly landscape with a small, dreamy farm in it was created. The picture still hangs over my desk as a source of inspiration to this day. In fact, Wolf hugged me calmly throughout the creation process. What an effect art can have...
From then on I definitely couldn't get painting out of my head again and during my last job in the small village of Aidenbach in Lower Bavaria I stumbled across a new, small studio with breathtaking landscapes that immediately completely affected me, during my lunch break, so to speak I fell under their spell. I soon found out that they were offering Bob Ross-style painting classes and immediately signed up enthusiastically. I then stayed just three course days on different weekends and so proudly created my first three own works using this technique. In fact, I had hardly had any experience with oil painting before and I was simply fascinated by the effective, fast and extremely sophisticated technique
After emigrating to southern Italy, to the picturesque region of the Cilento National Park, for various, partly private reasons, I quickly drew new energy and inspiration. The endless, untouched nature around me as well as the beautiful sea view from my new domicile gave me new support and a lot of strength for creative ideas every day. After I lost my job there in the tourism industry again due to the corona and had done the most necessary organizational things for a new life in bella Italia, I took a Bob Ross instructor course in beautiful Switzerland with my extremely lovable and talented teacher with renewed courage Sally Richardson. For a few weeks now, a small group of art enthusiasts should sink into the world of painting every day and learn the simple and joyful conveyance of art-interested beginners. During these weeks I immersed myself again in the imaginative and varied world of landscape painting and finally decided to integrate it into my future life in any case, maybe even to offer painting courses myself soon.

Shortly after I moved to southern Italy, to beautiful Campania, I also had a strong urge to write. Finally settled down, I was able to reflect a lot and think about my numerous strokes of fate, ups and downs as well as experiences on my rather bumpy path through life. It was the cultural differences and amusing habits of Italians in my new home that prompted me to write many funny but also more profound anecdotes for my readers. Because even during my student days I heard from friends and acquaintances again and again that I should definitely write a book, because the little stories and quirks from my life would simply be too incomprehensible and often just mercilessly funny. So why not listen to others? After all, my talent for writing was clearly confirmed to me from my school days and I always had time and leisure during the Corona period. So if you would like to find out more about myself, you are cordially invited to take a look at my book! This consists of individual, small stories from my life and has become an autobiographical as well as humorous and exciting life guide from me for you!
So now that I have finished my first book, I want to further individualize Bob Ross’s style for me and put a whole new world of magic around landscape painting. My goal is to create a “magical landscape painting” by working a lot with light, colors and reflections to create a fairytale atmosphere. I have plenty of ideas for this, after all, my dog Wolf still needs a lot of relaxation today and I would like to invite you to accompany me on this interesting journey. Just let yourself be enchanted. . .
